Deep

The Deep profile unlocks every tool the app has to offer. Chain visualisation, Sudoku Spaces, 3D cube view, trace mode — everything is available for tackling the hardest puzzles.

What You See

Everything in Standard, plus:

• Sudoku Spaces — project the grid into alternative coordinate systems (rn, cn, bn) to reveal hidden patterns
• Strong link overlays — visualise conjugate pairs and chain connections directly on the grid
• Trace mode — an advanced input mode for following chains step by step
• 3D cube view — a spatial visualisation of the puzzle as a 9×9×9 cube
• Space indicator — shows the current projection in the status bar with quick switching

Mistakes

Like Standard, Deep allows you to place incorrect digits deliberately. Testing contradictions is part of the advanced solving toolkit — place a candidate, follow the chain, and see if it leads to an impossibility. Use Restore Puzzle from the menu to undo back to your last correct state when a contradiction confirms your suspicion.

Hints in Deep

All hint features from Standard, plus:

• Chain and graph visualisation — hints for chaining techniques (Simple Colouring, X-Cycles, 3D Medusa) show the full chain or graph with colour-coded vertices and edges
• Projected hints — technique patterns render natively in whichever Sudoku Space you're viewing

Switching Profiles

Switch to Standard or Relaxed any time from the navigation bar menu. Features exclusive to Deep (Spaces, links, cube view) are hidden but your puzzle progress is preserved. Switch back to Deep and they reappear.
